Limoncello is a delightful lemon liquor that comes from Italy. Since it is made from the zest of lemons, it is sweet rather than sour. It has a pretty yellow color and is a nice complement to an Italian home-cooked dinner. I bought this limoncello in the liquor section of my local supermarket; but, if you go to a liquor store with a wide variety of liquors, be sure to buy the Danny DeVito Limoncello. It's fabulous! When I was in the Italian section of Providence, RI (Federal Hill) right before Christmas, I found these pretty little hand-painted Italian-ware limoncello cups in Constantino's Market. I bought them for a Christmas present to myself! I can't wait to use them next time we have guests for dinner!
